In the vibrant and humble setting of zilla Parishad School, Talegaon Dabhade, Maharashtra, a transformative day unfolded—one that will be etched in the hearts of over six hundred children. AntarMan Films and Chitrakala Studio joined hands to provide a unique opportunity for orphans and underprivileged children to immerse themselves in the world of art, sparking creativity and joy beyond measure.

The first-ever event of Chitrakala Studio, led by the visionary artist Sumedh Kishor Sonawane, was nothing short of a celebration of dreams and possibilities. Recognizing the barriers that prevent children from exploring art—whether financial hardships or lack of resources—this initiative aimed to bridge that gap. The goal was clear: to ensure that every child, regardless of their background, could experience the transformative power of art.

From the very first brushstroke to the final dramatic performance, the event radiated enthusiasm. Sumedh Sonawane, affectionately called "Dada" by the children, personally guided over six hundred young minds, teaching them the basics of drawing and drama. The energy in the air was electric as students poured their hearts onto paper, creating vibrant artworks that reflected their dreams, struggles, and aspirations. The drama sessions, on the other hand, encouraged self-expression, confidence, and teamwork, giving every participant a chance to shine.

The smiles on the children’s faces were testimony to the success of the event. For many, it was their first encounter with art, and their joy knew no bounds. One of the participants, a twelve-year-old named Aarav, shared, “I never knew I could draw! Today, I felt like an artist. I want to learn more.” Moments like these highlight the importance of such initiatives.
